Children of the Corn

September 14, 2010

In early August I spotted these white totem poles with screaming human faces and long bunny ears in a cornfield in Bridgehampton. I later found out that they were by Terence Koh and Vito Schnabel. Its a cool idea but I wouldnt call it innovative like Vanity Fair did by any means. When the word innovative is used I think of someone who has created something that we have never seen before. Maybe I have never seen these particular totems before but I definitely have seen something like it.
